We all know that the experiences we go through shape us into who we are. While some people choose to separate their past from their professional lives, I lean into mine. Life handed me a hard reality early on. Facing life-altering illness and losing half of my family before the age of 18 gave me a unique perspective on what truly matters. It’s why my films focus on genuine connection and why I place such a strong emphasis on capturing audio. Because one day, you’ll want to hear those voices again, the laughter, the vows, the quiet, meaningful words. Maybe it sounds a little heavy, but life is fleeting. And you don’t truly grasp that until you experience it firsthand. That’s why I do what I do: to preserve the voices, faces, and emotions you’ll want to hold onto forever.
